One woman died and two other people were taken to hospital after a crash on Highway 10 at the entrance to Turtle Mountain Provincial Park on Saturday.
Police were called to the scene of a head-on collision between a tractor trailer and a pick-up truck around 11:15 a.m.
One woman was found dead at the scene.
A man was air lifted to hospital and remains in critical condition. The woman driving the truck was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
All three passengers of the truck are from Sioux Valley First Nation.
RCMP closed Highway 10 in both directions between Highway 3 and the U.S. border after a crash Saturday.
The crash is still under investigation, but police don’t consider speed or alcohol to be factors.
