Police are investigating after a man was assaulted for beer in the 300 block of Ellice Ave. on Saturday at around 1:30 p.m.
Police were displaced to the hotel, where they found a 31-year-old man suffering from a stab wound.
Police say the man was uncooperative, but told police he had been assaulted near the hotel by several individuals, who then took his beer.
He was taken to hospital, treated, and released.
Police continue to investigate.
