It's the end of an era for Manitoba’s Liberal Party.

Saturday marked Rana Bokhari's last day at the helm of the party.

Manitoba’s Liberal Party said Bokhari is no longer working for them, and is returning to work as a lawyer in downtown Winnipeg.

Bokhari's exit comes after a disappointing campaign where she failed to win a seat in this spring's provincial election.

It's not clear who will lead the party going forward.

Peter Koroma, Manitoba Liberal Party president, tells CTV the party will meet October 15 to discuss a date for a leadership convention, and who will take over as interim leader.

Koroma said rules governing the leadership convention will be set at a later date.

The Liberals have three seats in the Manitoba legislature.
