A suspect attacked a 42-year-old woman and committed a “serious sexual assault” on Dec. 16 in the 500 block of Flora Avenue, said Winnipeg police.
The victim was walking in the area around 5:30 a.m. when an unknown man approached her and committed the assault, said police.
He then fled the area.
The suspect is described as aboriginal in appearance, about 20 to 30 years old, approximately five feet six inches tall (168 centimetres), with an average build, wearing a black hoodie and a white bandana with black flecks.
