Police shot and killed a coyote in Winnipeg's North End Tuesday afternoon.
They got a call around 3:30 p.m. that the animal was roaming in the area.
Officers found it in the 400 block of Boyd Avenue and shot it.
People have been spotting the coyote for a couple of days now.
One woman said it ran by her and her daughter and she then heard the gunshots.
Police removed the animal to turn over to natural resources officers.
