Older, high-end Ford F-series pickup trucks once again top the annual list of the most frequently stolen cars in western Canada.

The Insurance Bureau of Canada says the F-350 super duty trucks for 2006, 2007 and 2005 are first, second and third on this year's list for the Western and Pacific region -- and that all the vehicles in the top ten list are Ford F-350 or F-250 pickups with one dating as far back as the 2002 model year.

The bureau says auto theft across Canada increased for the second consecutive year -- going up six per cent compared to last year.

It also says Alberta had the largest increase in all of Canada with auto thefts up a whopping 32 per cent.
