The Winnipeg police board is asking the community what they want to see in the city’s new police chief.
The board has formed a committee to oversee the hiring process for a new chief, and they are encouraging the community to weigh-in.
A job posting is currently being developed to replace former Chief Devon Clunis. It will be based on a combination of community input, and a specific profile, adopted by the board last year.
Anyone wishing to share ideas or suggestions is asked to email the chief of police board. Delegations will also be accepted at the board’s May 6 meeting.
