Winnipeg police are investigating two unrelated stabbings that occurred within 15 minutes of each other Saturday morning.

In the first, at 4:30 a.m., officers rushed to Ulster Street and Dalhousie Drive to find a man stabbed.

The 20-year-old was stabbed in the upper body and was taken to hospital, police said. He is now in stable condition.

The second, just 15 minutes later, sent officers to the 300 block of Henderson Highway. There they found a 19-year-old man who had also been stabbed in the upper body. He was taken to hospital and is now in stable condition, according to police.
