Police are searching for a man suspected in a pair of commercial robberies.

According to police, a business in the 100 block of Keewatin Street was robbed on July 9 at around 10:30 p.m.

Employees said a man came into the business with a knife. He demanded cigarettes and made off with them before police arrived on scene.

The next day, police say another business was robbed at about 12:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of Roblin Boulevard.

Police said the same suspect could be behind both robberies.

The suspect in both incidents is described as about 20 to 25-years-old, between five feet eight inches and five feet ten inches (177 centimetres) tall with a thin to medium build and short, dark hair. He also has a tattoo on his right arm with a black outline of a cross about 13 cm in length.
