RCMP have charged 19-year-old Leah Castel from Pukatawagan with second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
In an earlier release, police said they were notified of two injured males at the community’s nursing station around 4:35 a.m. Monday.
RCMP said one male succumbed to his injuries and the other victim remains in hospital in stable condition.
According to RCMP, Castel was arrested on June 20 and is in custody, scheduled to appear in The Pas court on June 23.
