Prairie Mountain RCMP is searching for a missing Pine Creek man.
On Monday just before 1:30 p.m. police received a report that Mark Anthony McKelvey, 36, was missing.
McKelvey is originally from Pine Creek, but was at a logging camp in Duck Mountain Provincial Park, which is about 25 kilometres northwest of Roblin, Man.
Police said he walked away from the camp around 8 a.m. Monday morning. Coworkers conducted an initial search, and then contacted RCMP when they couldn’t find him, said police.
Several groups are assisting in the search for McKelvey.
He’s described as five feet, seven inches tall, 165 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and tan work boots.
