Beatlemania is here, there and everywhere in Winnipeg ahead of Paul McCartney’s highly anticipated performance at Investor’s Group Field on Monday.
The 71-year-old musician is still playing to huge audiences after more than 50 years in the music business.
Staff at local record store Into the Music said McCartney’s albums are always in high demand and people are talking about the upcoming show.
"It's been a while so people are excited,” said staff member Jay Van Deventer. “My mom's excited, but she's not going. She wants to go.”
The last time McCartney played in Winnipeg was 20 years ago.
For people going to the concert, the City of Winnipeg has posted information for those driving, cycling and walking to the concert.
