Fire ripped through a garage in South St. Vital Sunday night, torching a vehicle and causing $40,000 in damage.
The fire broke out at 6:30 p.m. on Oakridge Bay.
When crews arrived, the two-car detached garage was fully involved.
Officials said the owners were on scene, but there were no injuries.
The cause is under investigation.
