Team Jennifer Jones looked to score a fifth Canadian curling title in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on Sunday night.

Team Manitoba with Dawn McEwen, Jill Officer, Kaitlyn Lawes, and Jennifer Jones only had Val Sweeting and Team Alberta standing in their way.

After a perfect placement of the yellow, Jennifer Jones gave a roar of excitement scoring two rocks in the first.

But the wild rose ladies were fearless, despite losing twice already at this event to Jones, Sweeting went right after her in the second end, and tied the game at two apiece.

It looked like trouble for Jones in the fourth, but she made a clutch double to prevent disaster, and gained a 3-2 lead.

Sweeting responded in the fifth and tied the game at three.

After two more singles, the teams started the 10th end tied at 5.

Last rock advantage went to Team Manitoba, and after holding their breath, Jones and crew managed to win a fifth Canadian championship.

Team Jones is now off to the worlds.
