Winnipeg Fire Paramedic crews were called to three separate garage and garbage bin fires in Transcona just before midnight Wednesday.

Fire officials say flames from a burning recycling bin appear to have started a fire in a large two-car garage behind a house in the 100 block of Rosseau Avenue West. There were no vehicles in the garage at the time of the fire.

Crews then found another recycling bin on fire at the rear of a home in the 600 block of Bond Street.

A third fire was extinguished in a garbage bin at the rear of another home in the 100 block of Rosseau Avenue West.

All three fires are being investigated.

There were no injuries and there is no estimate of the cost of the damage.
