Police have arrested two 19-year-old men after an assault on March 24 at a McDonald’s on Leila Ave.
Police responded to the scene at around 12:30 a.m. There, they met with an 18-year-old male victim who said two men had confronted him. One of the men was armed with a crowbar, which he used to attempt to assault the victim, said police.
The two men fled, but returned to the restaurant later, at which time the business’s window and the victim’s car windows were smashed.
The two suspects then sped away in a vehicle.
Police spotted the vehicle traveling in an unsafe manner in the 700 block of Kingsbury Ave. The two men fled the vehicle on foot, but were apprehended a short distance away.
The men face charges including assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000.
