A blaze in the Weston neighbourhood ripped through a vacant home Thursday morning, causing $125,000 in damages.
Winnipeg firefighters were called out around 12:30 a.m. to a house in the 1500 block of Alexander Avenue.
About 30 minutes later crews were called a few blocks away to the 300 block of Lock Street where another vacant home was ablaze.
No one was hurt in either fire.
Officials are investigating the cause of each fire. They cannot comment on whether the fires are connected at this time.
