Police have identified a man who died after he was found injured in the 100 block of Allenby Crescent on Tuesday.
A 37-year-old woman faces second-degree in the death of Fredrick Bird, 45. Emergency crews were called to the scene in Transcona around 10:45 p.m.
They found Bird suffering from apparent stab wounds and took him to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Bernadette Neepin, 37, is charged with second-degree murder.
