A residential fire in western Manitoba claimed the lives of two men on Thursday.
Dauphin RCMP and fire crews responded around 6:30 a.m. July 10 to the Gilbert Plains community, about 195 km north of Brandon.
A 48-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene on Heath Avenue West, while a 46-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said RCMP.
The names of the men have not been released by police.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner and RCMP continue to investigate.
