Other Parade Information

Animals
Please leave your dogs, cats, reindeer, snakes, penguins, ferrets, lizards and other creatures at home. Special-needs animals are the exception of course.

First Aid
It is never fun to get hurt, but if you do, The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and St. John's Ambulance are on-site. Please locate a police officer, security personnel or a volunteer and they will get someone to help you.

Lost and Found
Lost something that is yours? Found something that is not? Come to the Lost and Found at the dispersal area at The Forks parking lot P7 (William Stephenson Way and Waterfront Drive). All articles gathered up after the parade will be collected by Santa's Helpers and stored at his workshop. Please contact (204) 77Santa (777-2682) after the parade.

Special Needs
We want to make the viewing experience the best possible experience for everyone. There is a special reserved area in front of The University of Winnipeg or accessible areas at all intersections along the parade route for people who need a little extra attention. To book a space at The University of Winnipeg or for more information, please contact us at 77Santa (777-2682) or email info@WinnipegSantaParade.com

Transit
Santa and his sleigh need lots of room to visit on parade day, and so some regular bus routes have been re-routed. Please check with Winnipeg Transit at 986-5700 or www.winnipegtransit.com to make sure your bus stop is where it usually is.

Washrooms
Lots of participating businesses have opened their washrooms to the public and of course you will need not look far to find one of the many portable units stationed on side streets along the parade route. Ask a Host-a-Block or parade volunteer for directions.

Charities
The Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade is proud to partner with the Christmas Cheer Board. The Christmas Cheer Board will be accepting non perishable food items and new unwrapped gifts.

Look for volunteers in the parade as they will be picking up items along the Parade route.

Green Team
Remember - please pick up after yourselves. There are many goodies distributed throughout the parade and Santa, and his elves appreciate your help to make the world a cleaner place.

Food Vendor
A number of authorized food vendors will be set up on side streets along the parade route. Check with your Host-A-Block volunteers for directions.

Letters to Santa
Please bring your letters to Santa and Canada Post volunteers will collect them along the parade route.
