ContactAlexandra Holyk joined CTV News Winnipeg in September 2023 as a generalist writer keen to report on all topics.
She began her journalistic career as a volunteer reporter covering community stories in and around the Greater Toronto Area, and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly known as Ryerson University. She has also received numerous scholarships and fellowships for her work.
Before joining the team in Manitoba’s largest city as a videojournalist, Alexandra worked as an editorial assistant and associate producer at CTV National News in Toronto. She speaks English and Ukrainian.
