A warning of an armed suspect near a Winnipeg high school put the building on lockdown Thursday.
Around 11:30 a.m., Winnipeg police responded to the threat at Elmwood High School.
As a result, the school was locked down for a period of time as officers searched the area and confirmed no injuries had occurred before deeming the school safe.
Police said further investigation discovered the information was unfounded.
