The suspect in last week’s shooting on Dakota Tipi First Nation is expected to make his first court appearance today.

Tyson Pashe, 31, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, break and enter to commit a crime, uttering threats and five firearm-related charges.

RCMP put Dakota Tipi First Nation into lockdown for several hours Thursday while they searched for a suspect.

Pashe was arrested and taken into custodyThursday afternoon. He will appear in a Portage la Prairie provincial court this morning.
