Demand for preview tickets for CMHR overloads website

The number of people trying to log on and get tickets for a preview later this month at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights has overloaded its site.

The CMHR now says you can email for tickets and they’ll send you a confirmation. The email address is:

People are asked to include their name, street address, phone number and number of tickets requested, to a maximum of four per person, for the preview on the weekend of Sept. 20 and Sept. 21.

They want people to email them by 5:00 p.m. CST Wednesday, Sept. 3.

If there’s overwhelming demand, they said they may put a ticket lottery system in place.
