At 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday evening, police were called to local restaurant in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue.
The manager told police two suspects, a husband and wife, ate a meal and had drinks. Then they bolted from the restaurant, leaving their 10-year-old daughter behind.
Police said they located both suspects not far from the restaurant. They said both were intoxicated.
Police arrested the man and woman and took them to the Brandon Correctional Centre. The girl was turned over to Child and Family Services.
