A fatal crash on Corydon Avenue early Sunday May 29 has now claimed a second life. Police also now say they believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
Winnipeg police confirmed the driver in the crash, Jordan Allarie, 25, has died.
Police said Allarie was the driver of the Ford F-150 that lost control and crashed into the Tuxedo Towers condo building near Edgeland Boulevard.
Officers said the truck hit a tree, ripped up patches of grass, hit and fence went into the party room of the condo.
Cody Galbraith, 25, was pronounced dead on Sunday.
Police said the vehicle was likely travelling in excess of 100 kilometres per hour when it crashed.
Friends of Allarie posted messages of grief and condolence on Facebook Friday night. A GoFundMe page was set up a day before his death.
