A 45-year old Cranberry Portage man is under arrest after an alleged crime spree targeting Winnipeg fast food restaurants and convenience stores.
Sheldon Cary Fink has been charged with nine counts of robbery.
The string of robberies began on August 25 at around 7:30 p.m. Workers at a number of restaurants and stores reported a man walked into their establishments indicating he was armed and demanded money.
The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash from a number of the businesses.
Fink was arrested after his vehicle was spotted by Winnipeg police just before noon on Tuesday morning.
He is detained in police custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
