Finding love in the 21st century can be a challenge. People use the Internet and meet in more traditional places like bars, but one single Winnipegger is hoping people will try someplace different.
Lucas Andrich is organizing a singles night at the Safeway in Osborne Village and it looks like the idea is taking off. Already hundreds of singles have said they'd come out.
One relationship therapist said meeting people in a non-threatening environment like a supermarket makes a lot of sense.
"You get the real person more in a Safeway then you would in a bar,” said Susan Wenzel.
The Safeway singles night is on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
Maybe you'll find love in the aisles, or someone will check you out at the check out.
If not, at least you'll get some grocery shopping done.
