The Winnipeg Jets won their fifth game in a row, a 4-1 victory over the Oilers in Edmonton.

The Jets jumped out to a 3-0 lead on goals from Drew Stafford, Lee Stempniak and Tyler Myers before Ryan Nugent Hopkins replied for Edmonton. Michael Folic rounded out the game’s scoring.

Ondrej Pavelec, who earlier was named the NHL’s first star of the week, earns another victory. The Jets remain one point behind Minnesota in the wild card standings.

The Jets will be in Vancouver Tuesday night.
