Man's death treated as suspicious after remains found near Dauphin

RCMP said the remains of a missing man were discovered this week southwest of Dauphin.

The remains were found on a rural property on May 7.

An autopsy was carried out on May 9 and confirmed the remains were those of Travis Benjamin Bilay, 23, of Dauphin, said RCMP.

He had been reported missing by his family on Jan. 4, 2013.

RCMP said the death is being treated as suspicious.
