A St. Vital park is getting a face lift. New benches and signs were recently put up at Guay Park and a crumbling fence taken down.
Now the park on St. Mary's road got $1.6 million in funding.
That will go toward stabilizing the corroding riverbank.
Repair work could start as early as January 2015.
