Photo radar enforcement continues to bring in big dollars for the Winnipeg Police Service.
A quarterly report to the police board says revenue is up by $3.08 million compared to this time last year due to photo radar.
School zone speed infractions contributed to the bulk of the increase.
It appears issuing several tickets is costing money too.
The report says the increase in the number of tickets pushed the budget up by $949,000.
It also says while construction was booming across Winnipeg this summer, less enforcement was done in construction zones because several sites were not favourable for enforcement.
