A small vintage plane crashed at Brandon Airport Tuesday, injuring two men.

The crash happened shortly before 1 p.m. Sept. 10., said Brandon police.

City of Brandon officials said two people were treated for "minor injuries."

Transport Canada will be investigating the crash.

Another plane, a WestJet Encore flight, had to be diverted to Winnipeg, said city officials.

"Brandon Municipal Airport officials have confirmed that the runway at McGill Field has now been cleared and regularly-scheduled flights are to resume shortly," said the city around 2:45 p.m Tuesday.
