Emergency crews rushed a male pedestrian to hospital in critical condition from a crash on Portage Avenue Wednesday.
Police said the collision happened near Berry Street.
The crash happened over the noon hour.
A witness told CTV News it appeared the light had just turned green when an elderly man using a walker was hit.
Officers closed eastbound Portage and Cavell Drive while they investigated Wednesday afternoon.
