Continued hot weather means continued risk of wildfires said Manitoba Sustainable Development and the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
Manitoba Sustainable Development said the province has received air support from Newfoundland and Labrador and Minnesota.
The province said a water bomber arrived this week from N.L., to help put a stop to the fires in the northern parts of the province.
The province said as of Friday there have been more than 440 fires throughout the Prairies.
Smoky conditions could affect parts of Manitoba.
Open burning and fires are not allowed without a permit between April 1 and November 15.
The province said anyone planning a back country trip is reminded that campfires should only be made in designated fire pits.
