An environment stewardship group is getting a $19,800 boost from the provincial government for its 20th birthday.
Save Our Seine is receiving funds from the province's Water Stewardship Fund, minister Christine Melnick announced on Saturday.
"The funding will support this important group's work to improve the Seine and the surrounding Bois des Esprits forest while helping to change the way Manitobans look at protecting this valuable resource," Melnick said.
Save Our Seine was founded in 1990.
