After last week's cool conditions, I wish I could tell you that a warm up is on the way. But it looks like below normal temperatures, both highs and lows, will continue this week.
Daytime highs in Winnipeg will only reach slightly above freezing all week when they should be closer to 9C right now. And overnight lows will drop well below freezing.
Snow squalls will bring even more snow to the Berens River and Bloodvein areas this afternoon, after all the lake effect snow that was dumped there over the weekend. But squalls will gradual weaken today as winds shift and come more from the west.
Light snow will continue today into tonight in the northeast.
Then it's the south's turn on Tuesday for snow. It's expected to start overnight around Melita before spreading into Brandon in the morning then into Winnipeg by tomorrow afternoon.
