It's a question all teachers have to ask themselves, how do you make your subject interesting for students?
Michael Eskin turns to music to find a solution to that problem.
And not just any kind of music. Eskin uses rap music!
The food chemistry professor at the University of Manitoba has posted a video on Youtube where he raps about the chemical composition of fatty acids.
He says he wanted to find a way to make information about our foods chemical composition interesting and fun.
The Professor wrote the lyrics, his son crafted the beats, and the dance moves? Well, they sort of happened by accident.
Eskin isn't done yet.
He's already planning his next rap video -- this one will teach children about making healthy food choices.
