The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be kicking off the 2016 season with a new look.
The club unveiled its new uniforms Thursday, with wide receiver Weston Dressler and defensive back Maurice Leggett modeling the threads. But fans of the blue and gold don’t need to worry; the new jersey features an updated look with the same classic Bomber colours.
The jersey revamp comes courtesy of the Canadian Football League’s new partnership with adidas. Winnipeg joined CFL teams from across the country Thursday in unveiling their new uniforms.
However those looking to buy their new Bomber jerseys will have to wait. The Bombers say there will be a delay on the arrival of the new merchandise due to a manufacturing error.
The jerseys can be pre-ordered through the Bomber Store or through the club's website.
