61-year-old woman rushed to hospital in critical condition from Panet Road crash

A 61-year-old woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition after a collision in St. Boniface.
Police said they were called to the crash in the 200 block of Panet Road at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
CTV crews were on scene and report the car was wedged under the trailer part of the truck. The collision was so powerful, the front of the car was sheared up to the driver's seat.
Police said the driver of the car had been heading northbound on Panet Road when the collision occurred.
Witnesses said it did not appear the driver of the truck was injured.
Police temporarily shut down Panet Road between Fournier and Dugald while they investigated the crash.
A car became pinned under a semi on Panet Road.
