The Oak Park Raiders needed overtime to beat the St. Paul’s Crusaders 68-67 and earn the 4 “A” provincial basketball title.
The number 2 ranked Raiders win the provincial title for the first time since 2011, while the Crusaders were the defending champs.
The dream year for Oak Park continues; the Raiders have won the football, hockey and basketball titles.
On the girls side the Sisler Spartans lived up to their number 1 ranking, dominating Oak Park 83-51. It’s the first provincial title for the North End school.
The Spartans Kyanna Giles was named the tournament MVP.
