RCMP are investigating after a body was found in Pembina Valley Provincial Park, Monday, Oct. 27, 2014.
Tuesday morning, Mounties said the body had not been identified and cannot confirm it is that of missing 19-year-old Winkler man Travis Sukkau.
Late Tuesday afternoon, RCMP issued a notice.
"The RCMP has completed the examination of the location where the body was found but are continuing to hold the scene as the investigation continues. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow morning," said police in the statement on Oct. 28.
