Despite the summer break, the mayor and city councillors are being bugged at work.
City officials confirm bedbugs were found at the front security desk and the lounge area on the second tier of the councillor chambers.
They said a licensed exterminator has treated the areas and because of a quick response, the problem should be contained to those two locations. The exterminator will continue to monitor the building on a regular basis.
