Despite missing the playoffs, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers were thrilled announce a sizeable profit last year.

The Bombers made almost $4 million in 2014.

That's an increase of almost $1 million from the year before.

Game day revenue was down slightly but corporate revenue was up $3 million.

But the team won’t be banking the money any time soon.

In fact, another half million in savings was used to pay their $4.5 million mortgage payment in December.

Overall, the team registered a net loss of nearly $500,000.
