Canadian Junior Curling Championships kick off in Alberta

The 2013 Canadian Junior Curling Championship kicked off in Fort McMurray, Alberta with round robin play on Saturday.

Winnipeg’s Matt Dunstone of the West Kildonan Curling Club is representing Manitoba on the men’s side after winning the provincial title last month.

Winnipeg’s Shannon Birchard won the women’s title.

Both rinks played their first games of the championship earlier today.
