A popular spring attraction won’t return to the area around The Forks this year.
Wonder Shows has carnival rides and often sets up on the Parcel 4 land in May.
Wonder Shows tells CTV it will not be returning this year to that location. It said it accepts the decision and will move on.
The Forks tells CTV it was not asked to accommodate the change on any of its land, but if it was, it would not be able to accommodate the carnival, because it needs Rail Side for daily and monthly people to park on its surface lot.
The City of Winnipeg owns Parcel 4 land. The Forks owns Rail Side land.
CTV has reached out to the City of Winnipeg and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights for comment, but has not received a reply.
