Winnipeggers will soon have greater access to wireless Internet in city-owned spaces.
Mayor Sam Katz announced plans to expand Wi-Fi access to more city facilities Tuesday.
The plan would see libraries, arenas and recreation areas offer free WiFi for Shaw customers.
The proposed plan will have to be approved by city council before it can be implemented.
