City extending closure of Arlington Overpass until Sept. 9

City of Winnipeg officials said the Arlington Overpass over the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks will remain closed to vehicle traffic until 6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.

The bridge was previously slated to open on Aug. 31.

The city said the extra time is needed to finish off repairs on the bridge deck.

The east sidewalk remains open for pedestrian traffic.
