There were no injuries after an early-morning fire did heavy damage to a house and two garages in River Heights on Saturday.
Firefighters received a report that a boat was on fire in the 700 block of Garwood Avenue around 1:30 a.m. The fire was fully enflamed when crews arrived. It had spread to two garages at 753 and 755 Garwood Ave. as well as one of the houses and a van.
A damage estimate was not yet available Saturday afternoon. The cause is still under investigation.
