Winnipeg fire crews spent early Wednesday morning battling a blaze at a home in East Kildonan.
Emergency crews were called to a report of a house fire around 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Roberta Avenue. When they arrived, smoke and flames were pouring out of the home.
Firefighters fought the blaze for hours.
Police say they believe the house is vacant.
There is no word on the cause of the fire or damages.
Fire crews remain on scene.
